The beginning of MimsyCraft

I have always loved crafts and art, and just the feeling of creating something with your own hands. I like to think that this stems from my grandmother who always had a craft project for me try whenever I would visit her.

When I got older I came across amigurumi and fell in love with it. I wanted to make ALL THE CUTE THINGS! So I looked up instructions online, videos, tutorials and books, and taught myself how to crochet.

Pretty soon I was making more things than I could handle. I would have piles of plushies and more hats and scarves than I could ever wear. I started giving them away to friends who liked the things I made, and then their friends would see it and want one too. They even offered to pay me to make things, and that's what started my shop here on Etsy.

Now I sell things online, at craft fairs, and am a visiting artist at anime conventions!

I am lucky to have found what I love and be able to do it every day. I hope you enjoy MimsyCraft as much as I do <3
